A Thoughtful Way of Working Together
Curated, not crowded.
Via Luma Collective isn’t a traditional agency with a fixed staff. It’s a flexible, vetted network of independent creatives and specialists who care deeply about the work, and about how the work moves from idea to execution.
Our Collaborators are hand selected from an expansive network for each project as they come up. That means you get the right team (not just the available one) and every collaborator is chosen because they’re a strong match for the story, the style, or the challenge at hand.
We handle the coordination, communication, and logistics so The Collective moves as one. To clients, it feels like working with a tight, well-organized team. Behind the scenes, it’s a carefully assembled group of independent creators working in harmony to deliver the best possible result.
You’re invited into projects when your experience and perspective adds something essential to the work.
The Collective is a group of creative partners we trust and return to. We aim to remove the friction that often shadows freelance work (rushed handoffs, vague direction, chasing feedback, and last-minute chaos, to name a few) so the work can move with confidence, creativity, and focus.

No. There’s no obligation or exclusivity. Being part of the collective means we may reach out when a project aligns with your experience and interests. We want you to keep building your book of business. We’re here to amplify each other.
-
Scope, timing, and rates are discussed clearly before work begins. Transparency and mutual respect are essential to how we work. Before joining the Collective, we’ll align on your standard rates and project preferences.
-
There’s no set cadence. Some collaborators work with us frequently; others join on occasion. Relationships grow over time as fit and availability align.
-
We assemble teams based on the specific needs of each project, drawing from a group of experienced partners whose skills, perspective, and working style align with the work.
-
You’ll have a clear point of contact throughout the project, and you’ll be working alongside other experienced creatives who value clarity and collaboration.
-
We have collaborators and clients in most of the major cities in the US, though we’re predominantly supporting Seattle, Oklahoma City, and Atlanta at the moment.

If this way of working resonates, we’d love to learn more about you.
Joining the collective starts with an application and a short introduction with one of our producers.
The application focuses on your experience, areas of expertise, and examples of work that reflect how you think, collaborate and create.
